When Elder Holland said we should dream dreams, see visions and work toward them, Bonnie and I decided we have a dream/vision of going on a mission in one year. On June 9, 2012 we will have been married for 40 years. We would like to present ourselves with a mission call for our anniversary celebration. We have many obstacles today, but with working towards our dream for 365 days, and knowing that nothing is too difficult for the Lord, we are going to work toward having our mission call in one year.
In setting our goal, we must evaluate where we are and how we are going to make our dream become a reality. We will post in this blog daily as we count down the days until June 9 2012. We will share ups and downs including Satan's influence as he tries to get us to fail, as well as Father's influence and blessings as He helps us to realize this dream.This concept of working toward a dream or vision and the efforts to do so could be applied to any other dream or vision, and by following Elder Holland's direction, anyone can "work toward their realization."
